Green Initiatives

Hagg Press believes in a sustainable future for the planet we all share.  Because of this, Hagg Press is committed to creating and enforcing eco-friendly practices and procedures.  Below are just some of the ways we try to reduce our impact on the environment:

 

• All of our process printing inks are now soy-based as opposed to the petroleum based inks used in years past.

• Our fountain solution used on press is now alcohol free.

• We have access to paper utilizing recycled fiber content.

• We require our paper recycler to certify where our waste paper ends up.  Less than 1/2 of 1% of the paper we recycle ends up in landfills.

• Our facility utilizes web-controlled electronic thermostats to maintain the highest electric and gas usage efficiencies possible.

• All of our factory metal halide high-bay lighting has been replaced with low wattage/high lumen fluorescent lighting solutions for a 40% reduction in energy usage.
